WHAT IS THE CORRECT PREPERATION PROCESS FOR A WALL COATING?

Our award winning exterior coating team will set your project out in 3 separate stages before application.

Stage 1 – Prep

We lay dust sheets and tarpaulin down on all greenery, slabs, driveway and footways. Followed by masking up and blue rolling all windows and doors.

Stage 2 – Deep antifungal clean

It is vital that we eradicate all moss, algae, lichen and spores from the substrate. Using ProPERLAs antifungal biocide, The walls are treated and washed of all of the above, This process will also restore the walls as close to the original colour as possible ensuring a clean wall for application of your wall coating.

Stage 3 – Remedial work

If your walls are bossed, blown, cracked or damaged in any way. We must unsure that they are repaired and 100% stable for coating.  If necessary we will hack off and re-render all bossed sections of your walls. We will also fill in any and all cracks. We also offer re pointing to damaged brickwork.

At this point in your wall coating process, your walls will already be looking much better. Bacteria and stain free with all appropriate repairs carried out. The next step is applying the UK’s leading exterior coating to your home.
