Home › FAQs
How do you provide a quote?

It's simple. Fill in our short online form and Tracy or Ian will usually give you a call to talk through anything we need. Send a photo of each wall you'd like done, with a quick note on how you'd like your home to look, and we'll advise if you're unsure. From that we send a rough all-in price, including scaffolding if it's needed, how long the job will take, and the next available start date. If you're happy, we book a full wall assessment to check the condition, take measurements, agree the final scope and show you the colours.

How much is a survey or estimate?

A survey and quote for your own home is completely free. We can also give a rough guide price by phone, email or via our free online tool. (On-site surveys for a property you don't yet own are £199 inc VAT.)

Do you carry out one-off small repairs?

Yes. One-off repairs start from £399. A £100 fuel surcharge applies for locations more than 20 miles outside Glasgow.

If I request a quote, do I have to decide on the spot?

Absolutely not. There's no pressure and no hard sell. Every quote we issue is valid for 30 days, so you can take your time.

Is your work guaranteed?

Yes. All of our work is guaranteed, and in many cases is backed by a manufacturer's warranty or an insurance-backed guarantee.

Are you insured?

Yes. We hold public liability insurance up to £5,000,000 (via Aviva and Gallagher).

Do you offer finance?

We don't offer finance directly, but many homeowners arrange their own through their bank or a finance provider, and we're happy to give you the quote you need.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, debit or credit card, and preferably a direct bank transfer.

How long will the work last?

It depends on the system: ProPERLA wall coating up to 25 years, K Rend silicone render and quality roughcasting for decades, and masonry paint up to 10 years.

Can you coat or render over pebbledash or roughcast?

Often yes. ProPERLA coats sound pebbledash and roughcast, and K Rend can be applied over suitable substrates. We confirm this when we survey your walls.

How soon can you start?

Typically within 30 days of accepting your quote.

What areas do you cover?

Glasgow and right across Central Scotland. See our area pages for your town.

Are you expensive?

We're very competitive and will beat prices from national firms, though we won't match a one-man-band. You're paying for premium products, genuine guarantees, an expert team and a reliable, lasting finish.
